One thing we have grown spoiled about over the years is a super silent dishwasher. Unfortunately, this house isn’t plumbed for gas and it would have been silly expensive to add it so he researched and chose an induction cooktop. My husband is the cook in our family and he loves a gas range. Quartz is more durable and that was the deciding factor for us. We installed marble kitchen counters in our last home and while they were beautiful they did show wear and tear more than I like. ![]() The countertops just feel a little busy and I want a more sleek, neutral look.
